Garden design
We offer a full garden design service as part of a free initial consultation which includes everything from a simple revamp to a full garden re-design. By visiting your garden, combining your ideas, inspiration from our mood boards and portfolio, and our knowledge of materials and practicalities, we aim to design and create the outdoor space you have always hoped for.
Fencing and screeningFencing is an integral part of most gardens. From creating boundaries for security or privacy, to sectioning off areas of your garden to create distinct spaces, a new fence or screen could be just what you need.
There are many different types of fencing available- plain and decorative panelled fencing, trellising, feather-edge fencing or willow and bamboo screening to name a few. Your fence or screen could blend into the garden or become an interesting feature in it's own right. DeckingWhether you want to create platforms, steps and/or seating areas, timber decking or composite decking could be the material for you. There are different options for decking in terms of wood types and finishes. We aim to use sustainably sourced timber whenever possible.
Garden maintenanceIf you already have a garden you love but it has become a little overgrown or you are struggling to find the time to maintain it, we offer a maintenance service that is reliable and flexible to your needs. From hedge trimming, pruning, grass mowing and lawn maintenance, to weeding, planting and deck and patio upkeep. We can work out a plan to suit you and your garden.
Vegetable patches- NEW!Ever dreamed of 'growing your own' but you have no idea where to start?
We offer a great new veg patch service that is designed to help you start growing your own fruit and veg to help make meal times more flavoursome and nutritious as well as keeping down your carbon footprint. We will build, prepare and plant your patch for you, supply you with an information pack that will help you with maintenance and harvest. We even include seeds for the following years. It is a great way to get kids interested in healthy eating and also teaches them about certain aspects of gardening. |
Patios, paving and pathsAre you picturing your friends and family sat in your new garden having a BBQ in the sunshine? Patios are a central part of most gardens and are a great way to link your home to the rest of the garden, in effect adding another room to your house. Paved areas are the ideal place for your garden table and chairs, bench or just some potted plants.
There are various paving options available including natural stone, molded slabs and reclaimed bricks that come in many colours, sizes and textures. Turfing and artificial grassA new lawn can be a great way to brighten your garden. It is a great place for children to play safely, to socialise and also helps the environment by reducing the chances of flooding and providing wildlife with a natural habitat.
With numerous grasses available, lawns can be created by seeding or laying fresh turf and with some regular maintenance, can be kept looking great all year around. Alternatively, artificial grass has come on leaps and bounds in recent years and offers a great substitute to natural turf. It doesn't require any upkeep and eliminates the chance of the family running mud through your house! Raised beds, planters and plantingRaised beds and planters are a great way to add some colour and structure to your garden. They can be a good alternative to pots and can be built to any size or height which can be a good way to reduce the difficulty of maintaining them. Many different materials can be used to construct them such as sleepers, various timbers, new and reclaimed wood including pallets or logs. They can also be built from bricks or concrete blocks and then rendered and painted to suit your taste.
We can suggest many planting schemes to suit your garden and tastes. We are also able to create hanging baskets and window boxes- a great way to allow you to have plants and flowers if you are limited for space- ideal for city dwellings. |
